You're it!

Dear Lucy, Toni, Emily, Irina

I'm really bad at getting organised and writing a blog when an award gets sent to me.  It sometimes takes me a few weeks and then I realise that the blogger that I am about to pass on the award to have received it from some one else.  Man what do I do then...

I have been tagged and awarded a few times now so I better get my skates on and do something about it.

Seen this lately?

I was actually chuffed that there maybe someone out there that thought my blog deserves this.
Emily from Strawberry Patch had me on her list of favourite blogs she likes to read. I was really touched what she wrote about me. Thanks Emily!
But then today I was awarded it by Irina at el petit taller...ah shucks!
There is so many beautiful blogs out there that are kept up to date with lovely handmade projects.
Sometime it takes me a few weeks for me to get through them all so I don't get to write on them every time they blog about a project that they are working on.
A few of my blogger friends (Sana and Nicky) have got this award already in the past few weeks so I'm going to spread it around to some others that I like just as much.
The rules are: I am to pass on this award to 5 other bloggers that I love to read and are inspirational to me. They are all to have under 200 followers.
So my chosen ones are:

Carla @ Grace and Favour
Erin @ Missy Mac Creations.
Laurie @ Dodging the Butterfly.
Helen @ Archie the wonder dog
Catherine @ Sew Wonderful Life.

Now I was tagged by Lucy and Toni today so girls here are my answers to your questions.

  2. You're such a good sport! Here's my answers: 1. Yes, he doesn't care because I really don't spend that much. Even if I did, he wouldn't say anything. 2. No idea. Usually after the kids go to bed until I go to bed, so maybe 2 hrs/day? 3. Amazing Race, No Reservations, or Big Bang Theory 4. No! 5. Maybe 1? They give me a headache and with my kids it probably isn't the safest thing to have around. But I think I have one on a shelf out in the laundry room.

  3. I shall answer some of these.
    1. My husband is not bothered if I spend some money on fabric- I earn the pennies, mainly, and anyway it is all 'ours' and I am allowed a hobby!
    2. I probably spend an hour or so most evenings. Never used to, but you lot are such fun!
    3. Telly? what is that?
    4. If I could lift it, yes, depending on where I was going.
    5. All the half burnt birthday ones too?? No, I do not know why I keep them either. And the emergency power cut ones? And the not to be burnt ever Christmas ones in the attic? I couldn't possibly tell you. I am not even a candle person! But that must run up to a hundred or so?

  4. It was great to read your answers to the questions. Yay for another film photography lover!

    My answers to yours...
    1. No, but I don't have to because we don't share accounts. We have an agreement that for now, we don't question the money each of us spend as long as our bills are covered. It keeps us happy because I know he would freak out about it and I would probably freak out about what he spends on tools.
    2. A couple hours a day, so 14ish? I try to come online and do what I intend instead of surf around from place to place. It doesn't always work out that way.
    3. Project Runway and Mad Men are my favorites. I mostly watch sports or old movies though.
    4. Probably not because I would want to explore the place I ran away to.
    5. Just a couple. I went through my candle faze as a teen and just don't burn them often now.

  6. 1.Do you really tell your partner or your credit card how much you spend on fabric each month?

Lovely little ad on the telly at the moment where a woman declares "that she will no longer tell her husband that the "new dress" is something that she has had for ages in the back of the wardrobe", anyway he spends more on cycling gear than I do on fabric!!

2.On average how many hours do you spend a week looking at blogs, flickr, pintrest?....be honest now!

Already spend far too much time on the internet for work, but I do get 10mins per hour of marking homework at nights. Sometimes this means I don't get to be until very late.

    3. What is your favourite show on telly at the moment?

    Revenge

    4. If you could run away for the weekend would the sewing machine come with you?

No just me running as fast as I can. Tara is driving me insane!!!! (disorganised)

    5. How many candles do you have in the house? Come on...all of them!

just a few, with Craig and Cate, you need a few!

Can't wait to visit. booking tix soon.

  7. 1. Never tell him anything about my spending - but he doesn't ask either. That being said, I am quite frugal and can go months without buying fabric or yarn!
    2. About 10-15 hours a week on reading blogs and writing my own posts.
    3. I watch many crime/detective related series but really, it's "Who Do You Think You Are?"
    4. Yes, preferably to a "deserted" island (with staff and electricity of course)
    5. a few that I can think of but they are never lit; oh, yes, one of them might be in a blackout (once in 20 years).
