I've been a little quiet of late.

To all of you that are dropping by thanks very much but there is not much to write about or show of late.
You see there is some construction going on in my house....
I stupidly agreed to new bathrooms in the house.  Tiles, bath, showers.  It seemed a good idea at the beginning, but oh how the house looks like a bomb has hit it!
There is dust everywhere and a toilet plonked in the spare room while the new bath came a week early and has been sitting at the end of my bed waiting to be installed.
So you can imagine the house is not a pretty site and with so much dust to clean up when I get home each day.  ( I don't know why I even bothered....) it was no place to leave a sewing machine or fabric lying around.
Last weekend I got.... a little done.
After all the washing and a bit of munching on some Easter eggs, I managed to get another Swoon block finished  and the next two blocks cut out. (ready for next weekend)

Know how you feel re builders in and dust but I just used that as an excuse to not do cleaning up! Hope noone uses the toilet by mistake! Or the bath!

  14. I have a lovely image with you sleeping in the yet to be installed bath!, Perhaps the bed could go in the bathroom? Or maybe not. Sorry. I now have quilted towels and patchwork design tiling flitting through the brain!
It will be great when it is all done. And the mess will clear, promise!
